Kamber S. Burke
Associate – Atlanta
Kamber Burke’s practice focuses on complex insurance coverage matters and commercial litigation. Kamber has significant experience with insurance coverage litigation, including the pursuit of declaratory relief on behalf of insurers and defense against breach of contract and bad faith actions. She also has experience with appellate work in federal and state court, and direct defense work.
In 2018, Kamber spent six weeks on secondment in London, working closely with an insurer client to work through all stages of a claim, advising them on pertinent U.S. law along the way. Her secondment followed several years of excellent work for Fields Howell, which she joined shortly after earning her Juris Doctor in 2015.
While a law student at Emory University her time at Emory, Kamber was a member of the Moot Court Society, served as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia under The Honorable Timothy Batten, Sr., and was a legal extern in the Ethics and Compliance Division at the Coca-Cola Company.
Kamber graduated from Emory University School of Law with honors in 2015.
