Fields Howell is excited to announce attorney Michael H. Galex has joined the firm as Of Counsel in its Miami office. Michael had previously served as a partner at a regional law firm for thirteen years. Fields Howell welcomes Michael’s leadership and twenty-five years of leage experience to its growing practice. For the last twenty years, Michael has worked in private practice, representing clients in civil and criminal matters throughout Florida. Michael will handle matters in several practice areas, including property, products liability, motor carrier, cargo & specie, and wrongful death.
In addition to his work in private practice, Michael spends his time volunteering for the Cannonball Miami LegalLink Program where he provides pro bono legal servics to local artists and art organizations.
Michael has been a state-certified lecturer for C.E.U. credits to insurance industry affiliates for fifteen years. Over the years, he has been called upon to present on a variety of topics, such as the ethics of claims negotiations, avoiding bad faith claims, and regulation in the insurance industry.
