Three associates were also recognized by Georgia Super Lawyers as Rising Stars in 2020. Each of these attorneys has completed a secondment during their time at Fields Howell, giving them unique insight into the claims process and making them invaluable members of the team.

Kamber Burke is an associate who has been with Fields Howell for nearly five years. Kamber’s practice focuses on representing insurers in coverage litigation, especially pertaining to commercial general liability policies.

Taryn Kadar has also been with the firm for nearly five years. She is a 2013 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law and began working in insurance coverage and defense soon after. Taryn defends insurers and their insureds in a variety of practice areas.

Like Taryn and Kamber, Steve is going on his fifth year with the firm. In addition to being admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, Steve is also licensed to practice in Alabama and Michigan.

To be selected to Super Lawyers, attorneys are peer nominated and peer reviewed before Super Lawyers finalizes the selections. Only the top 5% of attorneys in a given state are selected to the list. Selection to Super Lawyers Rising Stars is limited to only the top 2.5% of attorneys that are under the age of 40 who have been practicing for fewer than ten years.  To view the list of all attorneys selected in Georgia click here, or pick up a copy of Super Lawyers Magazine, Atlanta Business Chronicle, and Atlanta Magazine.
