Lakind to Present at Heli-Expo by Helicopter Association International

Fields Howell LLP is proud to announce that on March 8th and 9th partner Robert L. Lakind will be teaching two courses at the Heli-Expo Conference in Dallas, Texas, which is sponsored by Helicopter Association International. 

The first course will focus on legal issues related to unmanned aircraft systems (i.e. drones) and the second course will focus on dealing with an FAA investigation. Before becoming an attorney Mr. Lakind was an airline pilot who flew domestic and international flights. As an attorney Mr. Lakind has represented a wide range of aviation clients, including 135 operators, insurance companies, airports and high net worth individuals. Further, Mr. Lakind represents his clients in various aviation matters, including on compliance matters, dealing with FAA investigations, the buying and selling of aircraft and in aviation litigations. Mr. Lakind is also a member of Helicopter Association International’s Safety Working Group.  

The Heli-Expo Conference is expected to be well attended this year with the organization reporting that approximately 14,000 professionals will be in attendance and over 600 exhibitors.
