Marc A. Brotman

Marc Brotman is a civil litigation and insurance coverage attorney in Fields Howell’s Philadelphia office.
Marc’s legal experience in the public and private sectors gives him unique abilities to analyze and resolve complex legal issues confronting his clients. He began his career as a public interest attorney in New York City and then served as in-house counsel for a New York State public authority responsible for developing and maintaining significant properties in lower Manhattan. Before joining Fields Howell, Marc focused his practice as a trial lawyer in New Jersey, representing plaintiffs in cases involving premises liability, wrongful death, sexual abuse, motor vehicle collisions, and professional negligence.
Marc earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law, where he served as Managing Development Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal and received the Governor’s Executive Fellowship from the Eagleton Institute of Politics. Marc also holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from Rutgers, Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University as a double-major in English and American Studies.
