Julieth “Julie” Monroy specializes in providing legal representation and counsel to domestic and international insurers regarding personal injury, commercial litigation, negligence, and wrongful death cases. Julie is skilled in evaluating and providing strategy considerations for various types of insurance policies including automobile, commercial general liability, homeowner’s, and umbrella policies.

Prior to joining Fields Howell, Julie worked on a number of complex litigation cases at a Miami law firm, gaining valuable experience in successfully guiding her clients through depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial. In addition to her professional career, Julie also dedicates her time to volunteering through the Cuban American Bar Association. As a volunteer, she represents unaccompanied children in need of legal assistance.

Julie obtained her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2011, graduating in the top 5% of her
class. Julie was a member of the St. Thomas Law Review, the Moot Court Board, and was a Dean’s Merit Scholar. Throughout law school, Julie earned eleven CALI book awards and was invited to address candidates for bar admission before the Florida Third District Court of Appeals.
