Elena Maestas is an insurance coverage attorney in Atlanta. Her practice focuses on representing insurers and their insureds in commercial general liability and litigation matters.

Elena first joined Fields Howell as a summer associate in 2023. During her summer, she gained experience with the firm’s unique insurance coverage practice, learning about the Lloyd’s insurance market, conducting complex legal research, observing depositions, and drafting memoranda.

Prior to joining Fields Howell, Elena gained legal experience at a civil litigation firm in Atlanta where she drafted various court filings, including complaints and motions to compel. She returned to Fields Howell full-time in 2024 following her graduation from the University of Georgia School of Law. In law school, Elena was a member of the Hispanic Law Students Association, OUTLaw, and Business Law Association. Elena earned her undergraduate degree cum laude from Boston College Carroll School o Management. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Management and Leadership and minor in American Studies.

Elena is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia.
