Ariyiana Haynes is an insurance coverage and defense attorney whose practice focuses on representing insurers and their insureds in property and commercial general liability matters. 

 Before joining Fields Howell, Ariyiana served as an associate in the Atlanta office of a regional law firm. There, she drafted motions and pleadings, defended depositions, and provided insurance coverage analysis to clients. Her practice included representing clients in general litigation matters in both state and federal courts. She previously gained experience as an extern for the State Bar of Georgia, Office of the General Counsel; as an extern for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Hearings Unit; and as an intern for the Public Defendant’s Office of the DeKalb County, Juvenile Court. 

Ariyiana is a 2022 graduate of Emory University School of Law. At Emory, she was the Parliamentarian of the Black Law Students Association, won best brief as a member of the Black Law Students Association Moot Court Team, was a member of Emory’s Moot Court Society where her focus was on cybersecurity, and served as a coach for both the Black Law Students Association Moot Court Team and Emory’s Moot Court Society. Prior to law school, Ariyiana graduated summa cum laude from Howard University where she earned her degree in Strategic, Legal, and Management Communications. Ariyiana is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Oklahoma.
