The 2019 class of Super Lawyers in Georgia includes two partners from Fields Howell’s Atlanta office.
This year marks the ninth year consecutive year that Paul L. Fields, Jr. has been selected to the list of Super Lawyers in the state of Georgia. Fields has been an attorney for over thirty years in which time he has established himself as a respected advocate and adviser. Fifteen years ago, Fields founded his firm with partners who had the same vision as him – to give insurance clients the best service and best results. Since that time, Fields Howell has grown to over twenty attorneys with offices in Atlanta, Miami, and Chattanooga.
Gregory L. Mast joins Fields in being selected to the Super Lawyers list. Mast had previously been selected to the list of Rising Stars in 2011, 2013 – 2016. This is his first year being chosen to the Super Lawyers list. Mast is frequently retained by London-based insurers to work on complex litigation matters.
Fields Howell also had one lawyer named to the Rising Stars list. Jocelyn Cubbon DeMars earned the recognition in the state of Georgia for her work in insurance coverage and defense. She joined Fields Howell in 2014 after spending the first four years of her career in Ohio working in commercial litigation. This is her first time being named to the list.
To be selected to Super Lawyers, attorneys are peer nominated and peer reviewed before Super Lawyers finalizes the selections. Only the top 5% of attorneys in a given state are selected to the list. Selection to Super Lawyers Rising Stars is limited to only the top 2.5% of attorneys that are under the age of 40 who have been practicing for fewer than ten years.
