Jonathan Kramer focuses his litigation practice on representing professional liability insurers in coverage litigation and claims defense and management. Jonathan has significant experience representing domestic and foreign insurers in federal and state courts, and he frequently represents the Lloyd’s market in reinsurance audits of domestic insurers throughout the United States. Jonathan also represents the Lloyd’s market in handling complex first party property claims and extracontractual litigation. Jonathan has a unique understanding of the Lloyd’s market. In addition to acting as an external consultant to Lloyd’s, he spent nine months on secondment with two Lloyd’s syndicates, primarily assisting with professional liability claims and commercial property claims. Before joining Fields Howell, Jonathan clerked for the Honorable Peter T. Fay, a United States Circuit Judge for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
