Will Keegan is an insurance coverage and defense attorney in Atlanta, Georgia.  He serves as coverage counsel for insurers and defends insureds in litigation, specifically in commercial general liability and property matters.

Prior to joining Fields Howell, Will served as an associate attorney at an Atlanta based firm that focused on representing domestic insurers and their insureds in commercial litigation. There, he gained experience in both insurance coverage and defense work, specifically handling bodily injury coverage and defense matters. Will successfully drafted, argued, and won Motions for Summary Judgment, led mediations and settlement negotiations, and participated in trials.  

While in law school, he gained experience as a legal extern for the in-house counsel for Forward Air, Inc., as a research assistant for Professor John Marshall at Georgia State College of Law, and as a legal intern at Fulton County Magistrate Court.

 Will is a 2021 graduate of Georgia State College of Law. He earned his degree cum laude, graduating in the top 20% of his class and serving as an Articles Editor for the Law Review. Before attending law school, Will earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University. During that time, Will was a member of the men’s soccer team. Outside of the office, Will is an avid soccer fan and enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and studying history.
