Tia Brownmiller is an insurance coverage attorney in Pennsylvania. She provides coverage advice to insurers regarding commercial general liability and gig-economy matters and defends both insurers and their insureds in commercial litigation. 

Prior to joining Fields Howell, Tia clerked at a Philadelphia-based law firm focused on complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation. There, she gained experience drafting complaints, interrogatories, motions, responses, and demand packages.  She also worked as a summer extern with the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office in Norristown, Pennsylvania. 

Tia is a 2024 graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where she graduated in the top 10% of her class, earning magna cum laude honors. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh summa cum laude. Tia is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
