Taylor Lear is an insurance coverage attorney in Atlanta. Her practice focuses primarily on providing insurance coverage advice and representing domestic and international insurers in litigation. As a litigator, Taylor has represented insurers in federal and state courts around the country, at the trial and appellate levels.
Taylor first joined Fields Howell in 2021 as a summer associate, and she returned in 2022 following her graduation from the University of Georgia School of Law. In law school, Taylor was recognized for her success in Moot Court and Oral Argument Competitions. In 2022, Taylor was a semifinalist in the National Moot Court Competition. The year prior, she won her region in the same competition. She also received recognition as Best Oralist in the 2021 William B. Spong, Jr. Tournament.
Before attending law school, Taylor worked as an Assistant Editor for the Georgia Museum of Art and as an Email Marketing Assistant in New York. She earned a M.S. in Publishing summa cum laude from Pace University after first earning her B.A. in English and A.B.J. in Advertising from the University of Georgia.
