
Samuel J. Gittle is an insurance defense attorney in Miami, Florida. Samuel represents domestic and international insurance carriers in commercial litigation and toxic tort matters. He conducts extensive legal research and analysis to formulate case strategies and advise clients on potential risks and outcomes in state and federal court proceedings.
Prior to joining Fields Howell, Samuel worked as an Associate Attorney for a boutique law firm focused on mass torts and class actions, where he handled a significant caseload of actively litigated cases. Throughout his career, he has first chaired several trials, advocating on behalf of clients in contested evidential hearings. He prepared and drafted appellate briefs for cases in the Third and Fourth Florida District Courts of Appeal. He has taken and defended numerous depositions, and negotiated favorable statements in mediation.
Samuel attended Washington University in St. Louis for his undergraduate studies, where he was in the honors program and the Sigma Phi honors Society. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Political Science. He then graduated from Emory University Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2012. Samuel is licensed to practice law in Florida and New York.
