Ronald A. Lacayo

Ronald A. Lacayo specializes in insurance defense, particularly regarding first-party property claims. In addition to his litigation experience, which focuses on property and bad faith claims, Ronald provides coverage advice to domestic and international insurers.
Ronald served on both sides of insurance law, having acted as plaintiff’s counsel and defense counsel in his previous positions at South Florida law firms. This experience gives him unique insight into each matter he takes on, giving him the ability to anticipate his counterpart’s possible tactics and strategies.
Ronald graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2012 where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Society and served as a member of the St. Thomas Law Review. He earned a CALI Award in Contracts and also excelled in the areas of Property, Torts, and Civil Procedure, all of which were courses he assisted in instructing while in school. Ronald earned his B.B.A. in International Business from Florida International University in 2008.
