Michael J. Redondo is an insurance defense attorney with a specialty in premises liability matters. Prior to joining Fields Howell in 2019, Mr. Redondo worked at a large insurance defense firm in Miami. There, his practice included general civil litigation, personal and catastrophic injury, maritime, motor accident defense, and more. Mr. Redondo has also represented Plaintiffs in various negligence actions which has provided him with unique insight that better allows him to defend his clients in personal injury matters.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor in 2017 from Florida International University School of Law where he graduated in the top 25% of his class. As a law student, Michael served as a law clerk in the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida. He also worked as a law clerk at a large Insurance Defense firm in Miami while completing his degree. In 2013, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Criminology from Florida State University.
He is admitted to the State Bar of Florida, the United States District Court of the Southern & Middle Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
