Christine Soto is an insurance defense attorney in Miami. Her practice focuses on first-party property and premises liability claims brought against domestic and international insurers.

Prior to joining Fields Howell, Christine worked in first-party property defense for a national law firm. There, she managed all phases of first-party lawsuits, working on matters beginning at initial claims investigations and seeing them through settlement negotiations and trial when necessary. Christine also represented Fortune 500 companies in general liability, premises liability, products liability, and personal injury matters. Before entering private practice, Christine gained legal experience as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Samantha Ruiz-Cohen of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida and as a legal intern for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.

Christine earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law. While there, she earned the St. Thomas University School of Law Public Service Award, was a Staff Editor for the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, and was a member of the International Moot Court team. Her undergraduate degree was earned from Florida International University in 2013.
