Alexander “Alex” Taylor is a professional liability attorney in Atlanta, Georgia.
Prior to joining Fields Howell, Alex was a senior associate at a large regional defense firm in Atlanta that specializes in insurance defense including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, professional malpractice, and bad faith defense. There, he handled a variety of cases from the pre-suit stage all the way through trial and beyond to appellate work. His experience includes serving as first-chair trial counsel and securing a total defense verdict on behalf of a Fortune 15 company.
Alex earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2021, graduating with honors. During law school, Alex served as a judicial extern for the Superior Court of Fulton County and as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University, where he double majored in Chemistry and Archaeology.
