M. Arabella Puentes

Arabella Puentes attended the University of Miami where she obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.  Prior to this she studied languages in Bournemouth, England and Montreal, Canada.  Arabella received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.  During her time in law school, Arabella served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Chief Judge David Gersten in the Third District Court of Appeal.

Before pursing law, Arabella worked in the banking sector with the U.S. Department of Treasury – Office of the Comptroller of the Currency where she performed annual regulatory examinations for small and mid-size community banks.  In addition, Arabella worked in the financial sector with Morgan Stanley and in the regulatory consumer compliance department of a mid-size community bank.

Following law school, Arabella worked for a law firm in Downtown Miami dedicated to commercial and civil litigation practice. In addition, she practiced with a Florida civil litigation firm specializing in insurance defense.

She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.
