Colleen McCaffrey’s practice focuses on providing insurance coverage advice and representing insurers in litigation. She has experience with a variety of insurance coverage issues, including the defense of bad faith and breach of contract actions against insurers in both first-party and third-party claims as well as pursuing declaratory judgment actions on behalf of domestic and international insurers. Colleen also represents insureds as appointed defense counsel in personal injury and premises liability claims.
Assisted in winning a jury trial and securing over $200,000 in attorneys’ fees and expenses as appointed defense counsel for an insured welder.
Obtained summary judgment in favor of insurers in bad faith and breach of contract action involving a fire at a large motel.
Argued a motion for summary judgment in a premises liability action.
Secured summary judgement in favor of insurers in a declaratory judgment action involving a fire at a motel.
